How I Overcame Burnout and Found Peaceful Productivity
In a recent podcast interview, I opened up about my personal journey from East Germany to London and finally to Mauritius. This interview dives deep into aspects of my life I haven’t often discussed, offering a glimpse into who Anne Rajoo truly is. At the heart of it all is my commitment to living a life of Peaceful Productivity, where work-life harmony, family, and self-care come together intentionally.

Embracing Peaceful Productivity and Work-Life Harmony
Moving to Mauritius marked a major cultural shift for me, especially living in a multi-generational household. It wasn’t always easy, but it provided a foundation for achieving harmony over perfection. I’ve learned that finding joy in motherhood while pursuing my career as an entrepreneur mom comes from balancing my time and energy. Peaceful productivity, for me, means focusing on the tasks that matter most while letting go of the unrealistic pressure to “do it all.”
Burnout Recovery and Rediscovering Joy
I experienced burnout when trying to juggle my family, work, and personal aspirations. That period taught me the importance of slowing down and being intentional. Through mindful productivity practices, I reconnected with the things that bring me joy—my children, self-care, and meaningful work.
Intentional Living: Peaceful Productivity in Action
This journey led me to create my Peaceful Productivity framework, designed for mums like me who want to live with purpose and balance. It’s about stripping back to what’s essential and creating systems that support intentional living. Whether it’s in motherhood or entrepreneurship, success is about finding joy, not just achieving perfection.
